We stayed at Dar El Assafir for a week with my fiancé and we absolutely loved it! The riad is a tranquil space very close to the main centre of Marrakech with great rooms, roof top for breakfast and a swimming pool. Special shout-out to Omar and Reda who have been absolute stars and have gone above and beyond to ensure that we enjoy our stay. They always welcomed us with a smile, gave us tips on what to do and booked us for a lovely hammam! Le riad est agréablement situé, au calme et à la fois proche de la médina. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins. Jibril est vraiment à l'écoute des personnes qu'il reçoit. Un lieu que je recommande avec joie. Fatima ne nous avait pas menti 😊

We really enjoyed this riad! We stayed at a few as we traveled through Morocco and this was by far the best - the rooms are spacious (we even had a large closet to store our clothes in), the bathrooms are fairly updated (we learned this the hard way at other riads), and the space is very clean. Omar and Reda were both also excellent - they make you feel so welcome and were very helpful with any questions we had. The riad is also easy to get to (right off a main road) but somehow feels like a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Finally, the breakfast served here was quite tasty! Riad magnifique, très bonne literie ! Nous avons été accueilli avec un thé à la menthe et de très bon conseils pour commencer notre aventure marocaine ! L’équipe est fort sympathique ! Il est d’ailleurs très bien situé pour visiter la médina à pied et proche de bars et restaurants qui valent le détour !

El personal ha sido muy amable en todo momento, especialmente Reda, que nos atendió y nos explicó todo de forma excelente. Le estamos muy agradecidos por su atención.

En cuanto al riad, cumple con lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. No obstante, hemos echado en falta un poco más de cuidado en el mantenimiento de las habitaciones. En mi caso, al ser alérgica al polvo, he pasado algunos días con molestias, también con las toallas de ducha.

El desayuno ha sido muy bueno, con productos típicos y bien preparados. Aun así, nos habría gustado encontrar algo más de variedad, ya que durante la estancia de varios días ha sido bastante repetitivo.

Aun así, es un lugar muy recomendable por su encanto: los espacios son preciosos y realmente se disfruta de momentos de paz y tranquilidad durante la estancia.
El canto de los pájaros nos hizo despertar cada día y pudimos ir andando a cualquier punto de nuestro interés. Está cerca de todo lo necesario (unos 10 minutos andando) pero se mantiene en zona tranquila.

Perfect place to stay. Our room was spacious, filled with the enchanting sounds of birds and completely quiet despite being in the middle of the medina. The hotel, an old house with traditional Islamic décor and a sense of mystique, would be a completely different place if it weren´t for Reda and Omar. They exemplify Moroccan hospitality at its best, caring and attentive without being overbearing. Both clearly take pride in welcoming guests, and truly made a lovely difference to our stay. Dit Riad is een mooi verborgen pareltje in Marrakesh! Niet door de uitstekende ligging of de mooi ingerichte kamers, tuinen en dakterras maar door het fantastische personeel!! Iedereen doet zijn uiterste best om je verblijf zo plezierig mogelijk te maken zonder bijbedoelingen. De gastheer heeft allemaal goede tips zodat je de mooiste plekjes in Marrakesh kan ontdekken. Het is niet nodig om de excursies vooraf in Nederland te boeken, dat kan prima via het Riad.
